OMG the food is fabulous

Mac was majorly over cooked. Brisket was chopped up to much and fatty. Ribs and barbecue sauce are pretty good but with cash and carry out only I don't see us going back.

Pros: Coleslaw was good. Sauces were good.Cons: Hair strand in my pulled pork. Jalapeno cornbread was dry. Sides were nothing special. Dry blackberry cobbler. Extremely overpriced for the amt of food you get. Disappointed, remember the food was good years ago, won't be back.

They offer a fantastic range of fresh food. I liked dining here. Employees are always helpful, prices are reasonable and the spot is always well organised.

I just happened to stop by a few months ago just to check it out and i haven't looked back since! Staff and food our awesome. I love the BBQ Sundae

My employer had a company dinner catered yesterday on location,we had the pulled pork,mac and cheese and baked beans.The pork was very good,I wish I had more sauce to put on it,but,maybe next time...the mac and cheese the macaroni was cooked perfectly,it's the cheese sauce that was a wee bit salty for my taste,but the beans...yum...very good,I would rather have had garlic bread with the meal instead of a hot dog bun,but,I'm happy with what I had.all in all...it was not too bad,I give it....2 thumbs up...lol

The best brisket I have ever had!! They put all the sauce selections on the table for you so that you may try different ones to decide which one you like the best. The portions are huge. The owner is a sweetheart and makes all the food herself!!! If you want a home cooked meal at a reasonable price, this is the place to be! The server was awesome and treated us like family. The decorations within and outside the restaurant go perfect with the theme. They also have live music several times a week. It is in a convenient location, right on Hamilton Ave. I highly recommend Pit to Plate!!

I frequent this excellent place every couple of days as I love the special air that is part of this place. The team is extremely loyal and skilfull. The service is certainly fast. Most important, the food they prepare is excellent. I have been there more than once and I was always joyful. The cost is fair. I highly suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

Prices are absolutely rediculous... $7.50 for a gallon of sweet tea lmfao. Absolutely a waste of money BBQ is not supposed to be this expensive and y'all sure aren't doing anything special to make it worth the money. My advice pass this place right up.

We like a lot eating out. Last night we went to this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful experience there with very good food and an experienced team and a great chef. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall definitely visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

I'm sure when my food came out of the smoker on Sunday it was very good. The problem is I ate there on Wednesday night. The ribs and pulled pork we're very dry one overcooked. For $25 I would have expected much better quality and quantity.

This place is an amazing experience! After a few rounds as the Fibonacci nano-brewery nearby, we were ready for some barbecue, and Pit-to-Plate couldn't have been better. Dynamite food, friendliest servers you could imagine (ours was also hilarious), and there was live music by a trio of boomers tucked into a tiny corner playing dead-on covers of songs from the 60s to the 80s. Another place I just wish had an NKY location (though a 25min drive isn't that big a deal).

Food is great. Prices are pretty high. 13 dollars for just a small amount of meat put on a hotdogs bun (probably would be more on a hamburger bun) and 2 sides. However, it's tasty. Would go more often if the prices were a couole of bucks less.

Wonderful smoked ribs, pulled pork, and the green beans to die for, and blue grass band on Wednesdays .

Great food. Service is always on the slower, relaxed side. Dined in and placed an order to go as we finished eating. Waited almost half an hour for the takeout just to learn it had been sitting at the bar.

Two sandwiches were supposed to come with chips and a pickle. Didn't get either. Also, sandwiches were on very suggy hot dog buns. BIG FAIL!!

Thomas has the greatest BBQ ribs n assortments set up in his custom smoker just in front of Pit to Plate. You've got to grab some of his food to take home for yourself. You will not regret it.

Some of the best BBQ in Cinci. They also have a food truck that makes the rounds that you should definitely be on the lookout for. They've got a great collection of sauces with wonderful service.

I like this place very much. It has a great air. The meals are marvelous. the service is dynamic and the waiters are trained. The pay is honest. I warmly recommend.

Delicious! Tender flavorful great service did I say how great the food was?? The sauces all made there are full bodied. Even though you really don't need the sauce the meet was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Pit to Plate for lunch or dinner. Check the catering menu too the bring the party to you.

Customer service is the #1 thing I look for when visiting an establishment. Great customer service gets you an automatic 3 stars from me. The woman who took my to go order was genuinely friendly. Not the fake friendly you get at most places. I placed a to go order then went to my car to wait on it. She brought the food to my car!!! I had the BBQ rib "sammich" 😂😂 (that's what it's listed as on the menu) with medium sauce, Mac n cheese, sweet tea. The tea was amazing. The ribs had a nice smoke flavor and the sauce was perfectly medium. Not to hot and not too mild. The Mac n cheese was ok. Overall I was satisfied. And the prices are very reasonable

Awesome little nugget in the middle of Mt.Healthy. Great sauces, great food, good service for a Saturday night! I devoured the Pulled chicken sandwich with mac, chips, and corn. With an ice cold coke to wash it down. A must visit!

Good, not great, local BBQ establishment. They have a small dining area which makes this place better for takeout in my opinion. They have a bar and karaoke on some nights. Could be a good place for a smallish gathering of friends.

My wife and I have stopped here for several weeks. We both really enjoy the food. They have live music select nights of the week. Every time we've ordered the food comes out quick and hot. They make their own sauces in house, which you can buy to take home. I haven't had everything on the menu yet but everything I have had has been delicious. Highly recommend this place if your craving BBQ. They have a did truck and offer catering options too!

They are closing and selling everything in the place. Sorry to see another victim of all this stupidity. Got some good deals on items.

Great bbq

Absolutely love this place. Haunt been able to find such amazing smoked food anywhere, now that the hours have drastically changed! I miss my pit to plate. Glad to see it open on Wednesday's.

Today , I dropped our holiday turkey to be " smoked"...this is our second or third year for getting our holiday turkey done at PIT TO PLATE ...." ITS $2.00 PER POUND...BUT THEY DONT ACCEPT FROZEN TURKEYS

I enjoyed the flavor of their BBQ especially the pulled pork. You could taste the smoke in the meat which tells me that it was done in a true smoker not an electric smoker. Their sauces are good as well. The atmosphere was what I anticipated from a true BBQ joint. The location is this places only downfall. I would visit more often but it's just too far off the beaten path. I hope they'll consider expanding perhaps to the Mason area. We need a good BBQ joint up North.

I think they close the store down but if you get a chance to get him out in the food truck and all the neighborhood and Community get-togethers around the city of Cincinnati on Colerain Township you have to take you in the barbecue it's really good

It's a catering/food truck business now but when it was a restaurant the brisket chili mac was hard to beat. Also loved the grilled chicken wings.

I like this restaurant! They provide good food, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that spot is well trained, I like very much eating all their dishes. The dishes are always good, the attitude towards the guests is efficient. I visit often this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I highly recommend it.

Some of the best southern barbecue and sides anywhere. Friendly staff. Beer list meh. Prices on the high side. Decor needs a refresh with comfort in mind. As of October 7, 2017 the restaurant has closed. They continue to cater and their food truck can still be found around town.

I had to get our ham smoked again at Pit to Plate after one of my sons mentioned how good it was. I also went away with 3 bottles of some of their sauces and will use for stocking stuffers. Yum! Fantastic customer service. Diane has always been great to work with.

I visited them last week after tasting my friends ribs purchased on the way home from church. My first purchase, same day, were not nearly as good. I did not eat them and my wife would not touch them at all. The replacement was better but not quite to my liking. The sauce was provided sparingly. Like many bbq spots, it appears to be a hit or miss however the rib tips were much better. I will stick with the tips.

The food was just not good. What is silly is the amount fo sauce you only allowed very small amounts and they charge extra !! I like Misson BBQ there a little drive but worth it.

I recently had Pit to Plate Barbeque cater my wedding and they did a fantastic job! The food was delicious and we got many compliments on it. People really liked the food truck idea and the service was great. Thanks for doing such a great job and helping the day go so smoothly.
